Gates:  Suddenly called to heaven to paint for our Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2020.  Predeceased by his grandmother, Rosalia Coleman; uncle, Ben Boehly.  Painfully leaves behind cherished and proud mother, Nancy Daniels; brother, Chris (Elaine Eckam) Daniels; only beloved son, Anthony Stallworth; precious granddaughter, Ava Stallworth (her special mother, Alexis De Pasquale); nephew, Dante Daniels; older brother, Timothy Harris; his second mother and aunt, Ann (Henry Imhof) Boehly; aunts, Linda Smith, Carol (Phil Forte) Masetta, Jennifer, Donna and Helen; uncles, Terry (Marianne) Coleman, Tom (Linda) Coleman and John Coleman.

E.J. had many cousins, especially close was his best friend and protector Annette Torres, his older cousin Steve (Leanna Chamberlain) Torres, his Dave and Busters partner, Gracianna Torres, Samantha Masetta, Jack and Audrey Coleman, Ricky and Eric (Michelle) Daniels.  Honorary cousin and loving friend, Jessica Siverling.

As far as friends, E.J. had a million lifelong, loyal friends; Dallas Cooper, Gary Potter, Chip and Justin.  Everyone else knows who you all are with much thanks from his family for loving him so much.

E.J. loved to paint and create art.  He began at an early age and was determined to make it his life pleasure.  He graduated from Gates Chili High School, received his associates degree at MCC and bachelor’s degree Ccum Laude from RIT.  Many of his paintings have been displayed at the Joy Gallery owned by his mentor and friend, Luvon Sheppard.  Every February he showcased his art for Black History Month at the Memorial Art Gallery,  He was the curator for 3 art shows at RIT.  He was also an assistant teacher for children’s classes during holiday breaks at the Memorial Art Gallery.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

E.J.’s visitation will be held Sunday, July 12th 1-4 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road.  His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, July 13th 10:00 AM at St. Jude Church.  For more information and to sign his online guestbook, visit www.meesonfamily.com
