Emorfia Tonas Holley: May 3, 2018. Predeceased by her husband Christos; son, Dimitraki “Jimmy”; sons-in-law, Naoum Nedelkos & Agisilaos Tavelaris. Survived by her children, Alexandra Tonas-Meng, Anastasia Nedelkos, Sofia Tavelaris & Steve (Kim) Tonas; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings; Agapi Theodorou, Steve (Maria) Manou, Thespina Stathopoulos; sister-in-law, Flora (John) Haltses; brother-in-law, George (Jean) Tonas; nieces, nephews, cousins; dear friends. Emorfia was the owner of Christos Diner for over 30 years. She loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed. The family would like to thank Unity Hospital 2200 Unit and many friends for all the care and support given. Emorfia’s visitation will be held Wednesday May 9th 3-5 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road where her Funeral Service will follow at 5 PM in the funeral home chapel. Private interment, Sandy Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fancher Hulberton Murray Fire Department 3353 Hulberton Road, Holley NY 14470. My prayers to the family. After being a part of the Christo’s crew for over 25 years, they are all a part of my family and Amy was like another mom to me. I will miss scolding her for working in her flower beds when it was so hot outside! May she rest in peace.
