Greece: Peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, January 10, 2020 at age 79 went home to be with her parents, John & Catherine Cody; her husband, Frank E. Jr., and brother, Joseph. She will be deeply missed by her loving son, Michael and loving daughter, Amy Werner; devoted grandchildren, Maureen and Raymond Werner; sister, Mary (John “Butch”) Polera; brothers, John (Patricia) and Robert (Sharon) Cody; several nieces, nephews, cousins; loving family and dear friends.
Ellen’s visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. where her funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, Wednesday, January 15th at 9:00 AM. Dear Michael and Amy and all my Cody Family,
Ellen holds a very special place in my heart. My mom Barbara had no sisters, but her cousins, Ellen and Mary, stepped in and the three of them have a wonderful bond of sisterhood. Ellen is no longer inhibited by her earthly body and is free to sing songs to our Redeemer Jesus. I will be praying for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to be very real to you all. With much love, Mary
