Greece: Thursday, July 23, 2009. Predeceased by her husband, William Sand. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Christine Sand; grandchildren, Samantha R. Sand and Paula E. Sand; great-granddaughter, Breanna Christine Sand; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Elizabeth loved gardening and taking walks. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends may call Wednesday (july 29th) 4-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday (July 30th) 9:00 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Rose Ridge Cemetery, Naples, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in her memory.
