Rochester: Peacefully, Thursday, February 21, 2019. Betty was born December 25, 1943 to Samuel and Lillian Marasco. She is predeceased by parents; brothers, Mike, Sam, Jim & Billy. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joe Moriarty; daughters, Lisa DiStefano and Lori Moriarty; son, Joseph Moriarty; grandchildren, Amber Leonard, Michael, Dani and Kaylee DiStefano and Joseph Moriarty; great-grandchildren, Shane, Quinn, Avery and Jaxson; siblings, Rosemarie Young, Marianne Ranney, Sandra, Diane and David Marasco; many nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family and dear friends; loved by Koko, Lilly and Big boy.
Betty’s visitation will be held Wednesday, February 27th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday, February 28th 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the funeral home. Entombment, Holy Sepuchre Cemetery. Joe, Lisa and the rest of the family. I was so sorry to hear about Betty’s passing. She was always such a vibrant person and will be remembered by everyone, including me. She was always Aunt Betty to my girls. The Lord called her home and she is resting comfortably.
