Guestbook

  1. I am sorry for your families loss of Eleanor.
I worked with her son Chris for many years at the police department.

  2. I was so sorry to learn of Mrs. Bittner’s passing. I have many happy memories of the friendship between Ellie and Bob and my parents, Harold and Arlene Hetzler. They were very special people and it’s sad to think they are all gone. Mrs. Bittner was a kind and gentle soul and still sent me x-mas cards even just last year. I extend my sympathies to all of you.

  3. My condolences to the family of Robert and Eleanor Bittner.
Bob and I met when I was in High school and we both boarded with Mrs Laveck at 416 Flower City Park about 1948 t0 1950. I graduated in 1949 and being in the Marine Corps Reserve was called to active duty in August 1950 thru February 1952.

I somewhat remember Bob and Ellie getting married and I may have been part of one of the baptisms. I am not sure.

I regret not keeping in touch over the years and not knowing when Bob passed away.

  4. My sincere condolences to the family of Ellie. I met Ellie at a couple O.L.P.H. functions, along with Mary Leta Karp. My great-grandfather was Michael Karp, whose brother was Eugene Karp, Ellie & sibs’ grandfather. I liked Ellie very much, and she has spoken to my brother, Richard ‘Herbi’ Miller about the Karp family genealogy a few times. I also knew Patte and Mark while at OLPH.
My Mother was Loretta Beth Miller; her Mother was Cecilia Karp Beth, and Michael Karp was Cecilia’s Dad. May Ellie rest in peace.

  5. Patte & Family,

I want to extend my sympathy to you and your family at this time. I read that your mom passed away. She was a true pillar at OLM and how many times did she answer that Rectory Door?

    In sympathy,

    Linda Falzano
