Edna McElheny

Irondequoit: On Sunday, May 29, 2011. Edna was born July 14, 1921. Predeceased by her husband, William F. and son, Albert (Butch). She is survived by her son, William K. (Beverly) and her daughter, Penny L.; daughter-in-law, Ellie; granddaughters, Tracy (Sam) Murray, Kelly (Pete) Wisley, and Stacy; grandsons, Steven, Scott, and William; great grandchildren, Christie, Anna, Matthew, and Christopher; sister-in-laws, Lucille Peat, Dorothy Domb, and Marge Mason; many nieces and nephews. Edna ran the family business, Bill's Appliance Service for over 40 years and she later retired from Allstate Insurance. She loved spending time with family, gardening, boating, and her pets. The family would like to thank the staff at Westwood Commons who were very kind to Edna in the last months of her life. She will be interned in White Haven Memorial Park, privately. In Edna's memory donations may be made to Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester (99 Victor Rd Fairport, N.Y. 14450).
