Edna A. Farley

 

Greece: Wednesday, November 17, 2021. Predeceased by her parents, Harold and Frances Axtell; her son, David Cross. Survived by her husband, William Farley; her sons, Matthew (Jody) Cross, Mark Cross; her siblings, Beatrice Young, Ken (Margaret) Axtell, Edith Grzyucz, Arlene (Ray) Kamman, Linda Thompson, Dean (Chris) Axtell; many loving family and friends.

Edna was an Elementary Teacher and later retired from Eastman Kodak Company. She was an EMT with Greece Volunteer Ambulance and an active member of Hope Lutheran Church.

 

No prior calling. Her Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday (Nov 23rd) 10:00 AM at Hope Lutheran Church, 1301 Vintage Lane, Greece. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Roberts Wesleyan College in her memory.

  1. I so enjoyed talking to Edna at our class of ’62 luncheons. I will miss her and send my condolences to her husband and family.

  2. Edna was always one of the first to say she would be there for our ’62ers luncheon every month. She was a special lady. I enjoyed many lovely conversations with her. She will be missed. Peace to her family.

  3. Edna has been a kind neighbor for many many years and will be missed. She always had a quick smile, and a story to tell.

  4. We always enjoyed our visits with Edna at our Aunt Mickey’s next door. She was very kind and had such great memories to share of our hometown, Albion. She was a kind and lovely person who will be greatly missed. Bill and their family are in our thoughts and prayers.

  5. Edna was a very special lady… She will be greatly missed by the Joint Replacement Center at Unity staff,
    fellow volunteers and patients…Her time with us and her kindness to our patients meant more than she ever knew..She always had a smile and a postive word for all of us…Much love to Bill and family ❤️
