Dorothy H. Frederick

Rochester: Saturday, June 16, 2012 at age 94. Predeceased by her Parents, Rose and Joseph Huber; her husband, Clarence Frederick; her eight siblings. Survived by her children, Nancy (Robert) Tannenbaum; John (Norma) Frederick; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Dansville, NY on May 18, 1918, married the loved of her life Clarence on June 6, 1942 and graduated from Dansville High School. She was very active in the activities at St. Peter and Paul Church. She was a member of the legion of Mary and the Society of the Sacred Heart. Dorothy also served on Parish Council. She distributed religious literature in the bus station and airport using pamphlet racks that she purchased personally for her literature. She worked in the dietary kitchen at St. Mary's Hospital, where she retired.
Friends may call Wednesday (June 20th) 4-7 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9:30 AM at St. Boniface Church. Private interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Dansville, NY.

I remember your Mom when I was an altar boy at Saints Peter and Paul’s in the late 50s and early 60s. She would attend Mass each morning. Such a lovely woman.
