Greece: April 2, 2010 at age 69. She is survived by her husband, Joe; daughters, Tina (Tim) Ernst & Terri (Tony) Orr; sons, Tom Gifaldi & Rick Gifaldi; 6 grandchildren; siblings, Dick Slade, Dan (Eileen) Slade, Dave (Marie) Slade, Barbara (Gary) Maleck, Peggy (Joe) Leone, Ellen (Jackie) Slade & Karen(John) Rheinheimer, several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 6th 6-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Wednesday, 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 36 Armstrong Road. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may sent to Hill Haven Nursing Home, 1550 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580 in her memory.

How do any of us begin to say what you meant to us, Donna? Wherever you are, surely you know how we miss you and how regardless of how much we rejoice in knowing you are at peace, it is still so hard to let you go. Dan and I lost our best friend when you had to go, Donna.
I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy to Donna’s family. She and I were classmates at JMHS, and I remember her with fondness.
