Prattsburgh: Passed away at home, October 17, 2011 at age 55. Donna is predeceased by her brother, Peter Breiner; sister, Suzie Breiner; brother, Ed Breiner & sister, Judy Perry. She is survived by her husband, Peter Scheid; children, Jenna, Patrick, Emily & Haley; brother, Dutch (Sandy) Breiner; sister, Linda (Mark) Eagan; brother-in-law, Keith Perry; many beloved nieces and nephews; dear friends. Friends may call Thursday, October 20th, 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, October 21st, 10:00AM at Spiritus Christi Church, 121 N. Fitzhugh Street . Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Camp Good Days and Special Times (CampGoodDays.org) in her memory.

  1. Coleman family & dear Haley, we are so sorry for you loss. We loved Donna and her making us climb that awful terrible hill in Lake Placid – we finished huffing and puffing and she was smiling!     God bless you all. I grew up on Whittier Rd. near the Breiner family. Tim was the family paper-boy. Donna was joyous to be with. Her laugh was infectious! She was a true giver. It sounds like she was still. You will all be in my prayers. God bless you, Linda and Dutch and Families!

  11. I am so sorry for the loss of Donna, mother, wife, sister. friend. I truly honored to have known her and will miss her happy face. She truly enjoyed her life. She will be missed. and is an inspiration to to enjoy life.

  12. I will miss Donna’s friendship and counsel. I’m so glad that we could share some time together at the end of her life here. She was a woman of faith and she continues to inspire me. I’m better for having known her.

  13. I worked with Donna at Hewlett-Packard. I have fond memories; jogging with Donna on our lunch hour…I could never keep up with her. Turk Hill Road was Donna’s route. Donna would always encourage me; you can do it Eunice, keep running…I will never forget her.
