Greece: Entered peacefully into rest Sunday, October 28, 2007. Predeceased by his parents, James and Emma Thorpe; his brothers, Walter, George, Ray, James, Wilson and Frank Thorpe; his sisters, Marguerite Thorpe, Anna Hertle, Rita Szeles and Emma Grube. Survived by his loving wife, June(Mikletish)Thorpe; his son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Suni Thorpe; his daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jerry Lippa; his granddaughters, Danielle and Renee Lippa, Sarah(Scott)Bremer, Julie and Andrea Thorpe; his great-grandson, Mathew Bremer; sister-in-law, Rita Thorpe of FL; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris and Raymond Hosmer of FL; sister-in-law, Betty Dooley of Fl; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of Greece Post 468 A.L. and a retiree from Eastman Kodak Company. A special thank you to the staff of Hamilton Manor Nursing Home for his wonderful care. Friends may call Tuesday 4-8PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:15 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends wishing may make contribution to a charity of your choice in his memory.
