  1. As a friend of his son Rick, I remember Mr. Semrau was always nice enough to lend me his truck when I needed it a few times–and Rick drove it of course. Don showed me around his tool and die job one time–the one near the old Ragu factory in Rochester. (His garage was another tool showcase.) Of course Rick was very proud of his Dad’s service in WWII, from Normandy on D-Day plus 4, to the Battle of the Bulge, and finishing the war in Checkoslovakia, Don had walked halfway across Europe carrying a rifle for Uncle Sam. Rick told me all the stories, and I’m sure Don’s experiences inspired Rick and his brother Danny to enter the Army themselves. I’m glad Mr. Semrau is at peace now, as it was a hard year as you all know. Rest in Peace, Mr. Semrau

  2. Danny my deepest sympathy go out to you and your family in this time of loss. You will be in our hearts and prayers-MEM

  3. Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your brother from Jim Semrau’s oldest daughter and her family
