Greece: Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He is predeceased by his daughter, Ann(Marciano)Hemdal. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne; children, Donald Marciano, Jr., Robert(Diane)Marciano, and Susan(Art,Jr.)Marciano-Keiser; sister, Diane(Terry)Erdle; grandchildren, Amy, Christopher, Amanda and Michael Marciano, Meredith Klus, Stephanie Keiser, and James & Daniel Hemdal; great granddaughter, Kailyn Webber; 2 nieces, Megan & Allison Baird; also survived by aunts & cousins. Services and interment are private in Holy Ghost Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

  7. Don was the inspiration to me and my family when we built our camp in the Adirondacks many years ago. I spent years working with Don at Kodak, and know the family well. Thank You Don and Joanne for all the years of friendship, and Thank you Don for being my friend.

  9. I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I worked with Don @ Kodak in the late 70’s on the Instant Film Project shortly after he came from Tobin’s. . I also visited him a couple of times in Old Forge. He was a great mentor and friend. I know he will be missed. I have alot of great memories of him. .Paul

  21. To the Marciano family, Robert and I were pals many years ago and I do remember being treated nicely when I did come into the Marciano home by Don and his father. I also remember sharing a fun delicious dinner at Bob’s grandma and grandpa’s home with Bob’s family. I send my best wishes to you all.

  22. Very sorry to here of Don’s passing. I worked with Don for 10 years At Kodak, in the Instant film. A great man, friend and teacher. He introduced us to the Adirondacks and his passion for snowmobiling, and the Great outdoors. He will be truly be missed. Gary & Sue
