Rochester: Sunday, January 21, 2018 at age 91. Predeceased by his wife, Shirley Kocher; his daughter, Susan Kocher. Survived by his children, Donna (Donald) Evans, James (Brenda) Kocher, Deborah (Audrius) Kontautas, Barbara (Donald) Graef, Lynda Kocher, Joanne (Mark) Chapman, Sandra (Vince) Lombardini; Irene (Goldy) Goldfine; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Lange.
Friends may call Tuesday (Jan 23rd) 5-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Wednesday 9:00 AM in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the Veterans Outreach Center in his memory. My deepest sympathy to the Kocher clan. Uncle Don always had a wonderful smile and he always loved his family and cared about all of them. He was a kind and gentle man. He cared about his nieces and nephews, as well as their family. May he rest in peace and enjoy everlasting life with his wife, Aunt Shirley, and his little girl, Susie, as he awaits the rest of his clan in time. You all will find comfort in the memories you have made with your Dad. Do not cry at this time, for your Dad is at peace and is happy and had a wonderful long life..
