Greece: March 15, 2013 at age 87. Predeceased by parents, George and Ethel; brother, Bud & grandson, Peter. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Arline (Pixley); his children, Jim (Eileen), Donna (Dan) Listrani, Keith (Heidi), Gary (Kelly) & Ellen ( John) Harnischfeger; grandchildren, Julie (Jake) Lenhard, Michael (Kelly) Volkmar, Paula (Tim) Starwald, Maren Volkmar, Kristen (Brian) Kelley, Dan Listrani, Laurie (Greg) Schwind, Ashley Volkmar, Timothy (fiancée Deanna Capuano) Volkmar, Taylor Volkmar, Jeffrey Volkmar, Courtney Volkmar, Andrew Harnischfeger & Brooke Harnischfeger; six great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; sister, Jean Springer; many nieces and nephews. Donald's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 19th, 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Interment in Holy Sepulchre will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to JDRF (JDRF.org) in his memory.
