Greece: Suddenly, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at age 47. Survived by his parents, Marvin and Jacqueline Schlosser; brother, Michael (Wendy) Schlosser; niece, Sydney Schlosser; many cousins; dear friends; his beloved dog, Amber; his fish, Skittles. Don worked for the Town of Greece for the past 22 years. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may call Monday (Oct 8th) 4-7 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulche Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.

  1. I am so very sorry to hear of Donald’s passing. I worked with him for over 7 years at the Town of Greece. He had a heart of gold, and would do anything for anyone, without any questions. He was a gentle, caring man who will be greatly missed.

  9. I worked with Donald for almost 5 years at the community center in Greece. I will remember him as a hard-working man, always willing to help others but refusing to take a hand-out or a short-cut in life. When he transferred departments, we all felt a loss. My heart is with his family, who he loved and spoke of often. Rest in peace Donald.
