Rochester: April 25, 2013 at age 87. Don is survived by his wife of 58 years, Theresa Podlish; children, Mary Elizabeth (Roger) Smith, Judith Anne Podlish & Donald (Mary Jo) Podlish; grandchildren, Linsey, Kristen, Donald & Marcus; great-grandchildren, Aubrey & Lucas; many dear friends. Don is a Veteran of the United States Army and served our country proudly in WWII.
Don's visitation will be held Monday, April 29th, 4-7 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, April 30th, 1 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held privately.

Mary, I remember your Dad well. He was a nice (and funny) guy. Due to my work schedule, I won’t be able to attend either the viewing or the service. You and all your family will be in my prayers.

To Uncle Don, family was everything. I take comfort in knowing he is now with those he loved very much, and that someday we’ll join him, once again, as a part his family.
