Dean S. Hogestyn Rochester NY: Monday, November 20, 2017 at age 89. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Jacqueline; sons, Gary (Denise), David (Jeanne); grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica and Daniel Hogestyn; step-grand daughters, Kristen and Paige Furey; sister, Carol Noville; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends may call Saturday (Nov 25th) 2-5 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Memorial Service will be held Sunday (Nov 26th) 1:30 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4115, Dewey Ave. Private Interment Riverside Cemetery. We will always remember Uncle Dean’s sweetness and love of family. No matter how long of time between our visits, Uncle Dean always acted as if he had seen us just yesterday. You could never meet a more wonderful man. He will be missed. Our thoughts and condolences go out to Aunt Jackie, David and Gary.
Dave & Gary, So sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. I did not know your dad but he helped raise two quality sons. May your good memories of your dad help you find peace.
We have so many Wonderful memories of Uncle Dean! He was a Special man to many and added to all our lives in a fun loving way. He will be missed, but has left good time memories for us ALL to enjoy. Our thoughts and Condolences to the entire family.
