  1. Dave was one of the most honorable men I have ever met. I had the honor of working with him for over 25 years, and he will be greatly missed.

  2. David,
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel on your passing. You are a great friend, coach and teammate. You were selfless in giving to us all and would go out of your way to always be there to help. I will always remember you, your positive energy and encouragement and most of all the fun and crazy memories we all made as bowling leage teammates and our travels to Nationals. Rest in Peace my friend!

  5. Nancy and I send our deepest sympathy to Jack, Linda and the rest of your family. Nancy’s brother John doesn’t have a computer but wanted to let you know he enjoyed talking to Dave the last time he saw him at Jack and Linda’s.

  6. Sue I can’t express the deep sorrow I feel for your loss. Dave was a true gentle soul and a gift to all that knew him . You can be sure that he is resting peacefully in our lords house . His pain has ended and I pray the lord to give you strength and peace to bear this pain.

  7. Sorry for your loss. I bowled in the same league and tournaments with Dave for many years. Prayers for peace go out to his family.

  8. Sue, I didn’t know you but I know that you would be a great person and I am sorry for your loss.
I wasn’t a close friend but I did bowl with Dave and we did very well in the few tournaments we bowled together.
I didn’t know he was ill because I haven’t seen him in 30 years but I am sure the pain from the cancer is now gone and he is in a painless place.
God bless you and I wish you well.

  9. So sorry for your loss. I first met Dave 39 years ago when he was my bowling coach. He taught me many lessons during my younger years – life lessons, not just bowling lessons. Then I started working at Lightnin and got to see another side of Dave. He was hard working and passionate. I remember playing golf with him in the work league. In his first real round of golf I remember how good he was. I tell that story every so often because I was amazed at his eye hand coordination and ability to strike the ball on his first day. I could tell so many happy stories / memories about Dave. I will keep him in my thoughts and I pray for his family.
