Cynthia Maio Greece: Thursday, March 22, 2018 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Vincent Maio; brothers and sister-in-law, Nicholas Proia, Mario and Rae Proia; sister, Dorothy Paglia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carm and Rocco Longo; brother-in-law, Rev. Nicholas Maio. Survived by her daughters, Cindy (Michael) Maiorino, Paula (Steve) Pete; sisters, Pauline (Rudolph) Norman, brother-in-law, Thomas Paglia; sister-in-law, Anne Proia; grandchildren, Stephen (Amy) Pete, Amy Hanna, Joseph Pete, Vinnie (Michelle) Maiorino, Nick (Angie) Maiorino, Jenna Maiorino; great-grandchildren, Carter, Molly, Aidan, Camryn, Max and Alex; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Cynthia was an active parishioner and dedicated employee of Our Mother of Sorrows Church for many years. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Penfield Place and friends at Fleming Point. Friends may call Sunday (March 25th) 1-3 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday (March 26th) 9:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Penfield Place or Our Mother of Sorrows Church in her memory.   1. Paula and Cindy, so sorry to hear about your moms passing. All the memories we shared in our childhoods came flooding back. Our parents sure had fun together and so did we. I will always remember her for her apple dumplings! She as we all know is in a better place now….
