Greece: Monday, February 28, 2011. Predeceased by his parents, Victor and Anne; father-in-law, Fred Hartter. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Ellen Butz; his children, Michele Butz, Jody Johnston (Mike Lobene), Andrew (Kelly) Butz; grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob; brother, Barry (Mary Jean) Butz; brother-in-law, Robert (Maryann) Hartter; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig 'Pop-Pop' enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. The family would like to thank Joe, Rita and Doug for giving us an extra 20 years of memories
Friends may call Thursday 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America or the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm in his memory. How truly sorry we were to hear of Craig’s passing and the conclusion of his recent difficult journey. We will always remember the great efforts of you both to make that long journey for family events in the Lancaster area. Your generosity of spirit was MOST appreciated and the memory of Craig’s gentle spirit will always be present in our hearts.
