Greece: Monday, April 16, 2012. Predeceased by loving mother of their children, Rosalie; mother-in-law, Margaret Ezzo. Survived by his children, Charles Zimmer, Christopher Zimmer, Julianne (Andrew) Shafer, Mary (Raymond) Saucke, Jacqueline Zimmer; 8 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Dolores Bieck, Elinor Burns; sister-in-law, Gwen Bigelow; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday (April 22nd) 1-4 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday _____ AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the University of Notre Dame in his memory.

Clarence was a good friend to all of us at the Memorial Art Gallery, where he kept the art collection safe and secure. His caring and concern for staff and visitors alike was always appreciated. Rest in peace, Clarence.
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at the Memorial Art Gallery with Clarence, and I always appreciated seeing his smiling face every day. He had such a king, positive energy about him.

I was so sad to hear of Clarence’s death. I knew him when he worked at the Memorial Art Gallery. He was a wonderful man – kind, cheerful, and smart. I’m sure that he will be very much missed.
