Greece: Friday, June 28, 2019 age 72, a longtime resident of Rochester, passed away at Journey Home. She was born to the late George and Helen Geddis on May 9, 1947 in Syracuse, New York. Chris attended North Syracuse High School and graduated in 1965. Following her graduation, she was employed with AT &T for over 30 years. She moved to Rochester in the summer of 1984 when she married Ron Spring, who was employed by Eastman Kodak. Ron was the love of her life. They enjoy 20 years of adventures before Ron passed away in December of 2004. Chris was a loving sister, aunt and relative to her extended family and a passionate fan of the Buffalo Bills, the Orangemen and Ron’s Irishmen. She is survived by her siblings; George (Lintschi) Geddis, Gerry (Patricia) Geddis, Cathleen (Mike) Kennedy, Colleen Keane and their extended families and loving relatives. Ron’s sons and their extended families. The entire Geddis Family would like to give a special thanks to her Doctors and nurses, the complete staff and support at both Unity Hospital and Journey Home for how well you treated our beloved Chris the way you did. Friends may call Tuesday (July 2nd) 5-8 PM Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester NY, where her Funeral Service will following calling at 8:00PM. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Journey Home Hospice in her memory.
