Cheryl M.Crudele Greece: born, August 20 1950, to Forest J Rogers and Arlene H Lewis, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2024. Predeceased by the love of her life Robert J Crudele. Survived by Evelyn Rogers, her adoring children Stacy Crudele, Shane (Gretchen) Crudele, Kellie (Mikey) Provo, her cherished grandchildren Jack, Claire, Emma and Lucy Crudele and Reagan Provo, her sisters Taryn Hilliker (Dave Paul), Valerie (Steven)Vergona, Onnalee (Tim) Ricci, brothers Britt (Margaret) Youngman, Lance Youngman (Linda Goodman), many cousins, nieces, nephews and amazing friends. Cherri graduated from Canandaigua Academy and then The Peter Webb School of Beauty. She worked at Madeline’s House of Beauty and out of her home for family and friends for years before also becoming a pharmacy technician/medical biller. She enjoyed all of this because she was such a people person and had “the gift of gab”. Cherri was an outstanding Girl Scout leader who positively impacted countless young women. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church where she had been involved in singing choir, alter guild, the men’s breakfast, food distribution and Angel tree. Cherri delighted in spending any time/occasion with friends/family and had more enthusiasm for holiday decorating than anyone else we know. She was thrilled to offer anyone a cookie, candy or a holiday treat. She loved all things prim and proper, pink and lace. She was a lady through and through who happened to become a big NFL fan this past year. She was a gem of a person and there are no words to express our sorrow. Mom, we know you are sitting on a porch with Dad sipping coffee. We love you and miss you beyond measure. Friends may call Friday (March 15th) 3-6 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Memorial Service will be held Friday 7:00 PM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 4301 Mt. Read Blvd. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Honor Flight of Rochester in her memory.
Words can not express the sorrow the family is feeling. Our only solace comes through our belief; that she is with Bob, Now and Forever.

Cherri and I have bee friends since 1964. We graduated high school together and I had the honor of being in her wedding to her beloved husband Bob. There has never been a sweeter kinder, more generous person in the world than Cherri was. We kept in contact all these years, and I shall cherish those talks, and the few times we were able to get together. My heart aches for the family and I keep you all in my prayers.
I met Cherri through my Aunt Tari ( her sister), she was so kind and welcomed me into the family. I remember visiting her and Bob’s house and she made the best coffee cake and shared the recipe with me. I make that coffee cake for my family and when I do I will think of the time I got to share with her and her family. She had a heart of gold and an infectious smile that gave you the courage, hope that no matter what was going on you would get through it. You will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace. Until i see you again.
Cheri I’ve known for about 40 years. She taught me to be a girl scout leader & has been friends since then. Always invited me into her home with a cup of tea & cookies. I will miss her dearly.

Cherri was a true light to the world. I know her family will carry on this light. We are all blessed for having had her light shine on us. I will miss her, I know she is in heaven with her beloved Bob. I am so sorry for your loss.

For Cherri It is hard to believe you are no longer here, Words can not describe how this makes us feel. You were a remarkable lady, So it will not be easy for many. I give you all a thought to keep, They are all with us even when we sleep. They are the thousand winds that blow, They are the diamonds glints on the snow. When we awake in the mornings hush, They will be the uplifitng hush. They are the birds in circle flight, They will be all soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of them as gone, As they will still be there in each new dawn. As they are the rainbow bright, the cardnial in flight, the bright twinkling star, the butterfly light, the soft breeze on your cheek, they are all of that and more. There is no secret tricks for surviving those lost, Keep waking up, being and breathing in and out. Your loved ones want you to manage and go on, With all thier love and memories in your hearts. Cherri you will be so very much missed. Vinnie and I will not know what to do when we go to Rochester for DR. appt. we have so enjoyed all our visits and all the wonderful lunches and coffee. We know you are now with Bob and know you missed him dearly. We will keep you in our hearts and minds and every time we sit on our swing we will remember and think of you and Bob sitting there and enjoying it just like Vinnie and I do. I am so proud to call you my sister and my friend, and thank you for everything you shared with me. I wish I had known you longer but you were a wonderful person, a wonderful lady, a wonderful mother, and grandmother and you were my sister in my heart forever! I met Cheri about 35 years ago (in 1989) when I became a Girl Scout leader in the service unit that she led. She immediately made me feel very welcome to be joining the group and quickly became a very good friend. I will cherish the memories of the many wonderful times we spent together. She will truly be missed by all those that knew her.
Cherri was so important to me, and always made sure to tell me how loved I was. She loved everyone so fiercely and unconditionally.
