Greece: Saturday, August 28, 2021. Predeceased by her parents, John and Carolyn Strommer; husband, Robert E. Pelletier; special friend, Tollis “Whitey” White. Survived by her daughter, Terese Pelletier; son, Tom (Laurie) Pelletier; grandchildren, Austin (Addyson) Pelletier, Emilee, Samantha and Gregory Pelletier; great-grandchildren, Reid and Gavin; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family wishes to thank Patti Knight and the staff at Hildebrandt Hospice for the loving care given to Carolyn.
Friends may call Tuesday (Aug 31st) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Please kindly wear a mask at the funeral home. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (Sept 1st) 10:30 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in her memory.

Dear Tom and Laurie,
I apologize for the time that has passed between our families, as I continue to be amazed at how fast life happens everywhere and to everyone. I feel so sad for missing such an important occasion, and wish to offer my heartfelt emotions to you.
I have many happy memories of seeing you and your mom during our high school and college days; I recall how often she challenged us to be our best at everything we did, and how she was there to help us with games and projects (D and D, Shrinky Dinks, Monopoly, Payday, caring for our first cars, etc.).
Her sense of humor and spirit helped me through some of my tougher times when I finally went to college, and also those first few years of “adulthood” as we moved out and on. I found her character and fortitude to be inspirational during those times, and wished I could have thanked her again for such help.
While I’m not sure what to say during your difficult loss, I just want you to know that I always will care for you and your family, and I share in your sadness. I hope her memory will live on forever with you and your family, and that she will be missed and remembered by me.

I just want you to know that I thank you so much for the Christmas Card.
I always care for your Mom, she will be missed and remembered by me. You couldn’t asked for a better neighbor at Georgetown Apartments. I moved to Virginia a few years ago, but during the holidays we always kept in touch.
I want you to know that I share in your sadness. She was such a sweet, loving & caring person. I hope her memory will live on forever with you and your family.
