Betty L. VanGelder 

Henrietta – Saturday, July 25, 2020 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Sr. “Whip” VanGelder; son Ronald VanGelder. Survived by ; her loving children, Richard E. Jr. (Jerrie) VanGelder, Gloria VanGelder and Shari (Thomas) Allston; daughter-in-law Malissa Van Gelder; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend her graveside prayers, Tuesday. August 4th 11:00 AM in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport, New York.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Rochester, Palliative Care Unit 4-1200 or a charity of one’s choice in her memory.

  2. I have many fond memories of my aunt Betty, sleep overs at her house her making my cousin Ron and I breakfast and applebutter sandwiches, and the legendary pinochle games my parents had with aunt Betty and Uncle dick. I love you aunt Betty may you rest in peace.
