September 3, 1939 ~ February 13, 2008
Rochester: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at age 68. Predeceased by her husband, Stefan Pasternak. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Frank) Scarson; loving companion, Robert Davenport; step-children, Pamela (Rick) Pasternak, Craig Pasternak & Monica Pasternak; grandchildren, Anthony Scarson & Deanna Scarson; several nieces, nephews & cousins; many friends.
Friends may call Sunday 2-4 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Interment held at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rochester General Hospital Foundation, c/o Lipson Cancer Center, 1445 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621 in her memory.

I am Betty Ann’s cousin My mother was Helen (sercu) Falkenstein, Your Grandmother’s sister.
I tried to locate your mother several years ago. I think she told me she was working at the Rochester Club but they did not know her.

Monica and family – I am sorry for your loss. Although it has been many years, I remember the days on Townsend St. Both Stefan and Betty were always kind to me and you are thought of often. I will keep you and family in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Betty Ann. I lost touch with her after we started to write about 10 years ago. I last saw her at my father’s funeral, Charles John Sercu, who is the brother of Betty’s mother, Minerva. I never lived in Rochester. May memories bring you peace and comfort.
