Friday October 8, 2021 age 96 died peacefully after a long and colorful life. Predeceased by her husbands Roy Schutte and Thomas Embury. She is survived by her sister, Nan Apsey; her stepdaughter, Mary Lynn (Kim) Boston; her dear grandchildren, Kathy and Tom Boston, Daniel and Kevin Embury; 5 great-grandchildren; along with many others loved ones.   She’s also survived by her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly  especially her caregiver Cheryl Riley. Special loved ones are Beverly Embury and her friends at Grand Vie Assisted Living, Lashea Walker and the rest of the staff.
Betty was a proud Kodak employee for 40 years where she served as a timekeeper.
She loved the outdoors and all sports especially golf.
Betty was known for having a beautiful singing voice and entertained so many people throughout her life.
She cherished her family and friends and was generous to all. In lieu of flowers or contributions to charity, Betty would hope that each of her loved ones would do something good for those less fortunate. That is something that she practiced throughout her life.
