Greece: Suddenly, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at age 69. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph & Anna Weiss. Survived by her loving husband, Merle Stockley; cousins, Eleanor (Robert) Peown; Rosemary (Eugene) Eblacker; several cousins in Germany; dear friends. Barbara loved spending time with her friends, music, traveling, cooking and had a love for flowers.
Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday 9:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Arthritis Foundation in her memory.

I AM WITHOUT WORDS! I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW YOU FEEL.
I HAVE BEEN ON YORKTOWN FOR 24 YEARS. IT WON’T BE THE SAME WITHOUT THE HORN BLOWING AND BARB’S QUICK VISITS, HER ANNOUNCEMENTS TO ALWAYS ACKNOWLEDGE ME! I HAVE COME TO THINK OF HER AS A DEAR FRIEND. I WILL MISS HER DEARLY. SHE WAS INDEED A VERY SPECIAL LADY WITH A LOT OF CLASS!

Dear Merle,
We are so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. We enjoyed her stories and her humor while at the dental office. We will miss her.
I will miss Barbara and our visits and doing her hair. She was special to me. We laughed a lot together. Rest in peace.
