Lester, Arthur C. Greece: Friday, July 24, 2009. Predeceased by his grandson, Michael Sheets. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Lou (Vay) Lester; sons, David Lester, James Lester, Timothy Lester; daughters, Nancy (Zachery) Brice, Patricia (Michael) Grady; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; many nieces and nephews; many dear friends. Arthur was an Army Veteran and a lifelong member and current commander of the Keith Miller Post # 6595 VFW. He was a retiree of the Rochester City Fire Department after 32 years. Friends may call Sunday 4-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice in his memory.
