Greece:  Born September 24, 1922, Entered into Heaven, Friday November 20, 2020. She is predeceased by her parents, Rudolph Vay and Theresa Merkel Vay; her siblings, Selma Schmerbeck, Eunice LaVigne, Bernice Hammill, Gerry Richter and Donald Vay; great-grandson, Jacob Aeckerle.  Survived by her loving husband of 75 + years, Francis “Bud” Nealon; her children, Don (Sue), Jim (Mary), Paul (Claudia), Kathy (Jerry) Neu, Bob (Cathy), Therese (Kevin) Bishop, Beth (Lou) Mink, John (Judy); 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Mary Lou Lester, Marguerite Ryan, Sister Concepta Vay, SSJ, (Dorthea); many loving nieces, nephews and extended members of the Laniak, Foos and William Nealon families.

 

Arline was a an accomplished hairstylist, homemaker and matriarch of her family who enjoyed gardening, vacationing, (especially Florida), ice-skating and attending scholastic and sporting events of her children and grandchildren.  She was a devout Catholic regularly attending St. John the Evangelist Church in Greece, NY.

 

No prior calling.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday (Dec 1st) 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Greece.  Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice in her memory.  For more information, or to sign Arline’s online guestbook, please visit Meesonfamily.com.
