Hi….I am a very good friend of Mitty’s…I had just talked with her and received two letters from her with attached poems that she had regularly sent. we were supposed to meet for tea two weeks ago and she forgot…afterwards, Mitty sent me a beautiful note explaining that she had been sick and then that her peptic ulcer had given her problems…Mitty asked that I call her this week to get together again….My friend called to tell me that she had someone call her and let her know that Mitty had died last week. I felt so awful that I had missed this announcement…I would have so wanted to meet her family…and tell them how much I loved her…I had worked with her for years at Boces and admired her so much…we always related to one another so well…Please contact me so that I can know what happened to my dear friend. with love Mary JO
