Anne (Nina Stubler) Lasponara Ogden: Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at age 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mother, Madeline C. Stubler; brother, William F. Stubler. Survived by her father, William R. Stubler; husband, Gerard R. Lasponara; son, Gerard R. Lasponara; siblings, Susan (Paul) Scholl, Catherine (Gary Wiggins) Salerno, Elizabeth (Gary) Cranmer, Peter (Dawn) Stubler; sister-in-law, Mary Stubler; dear friends Lisa Cook, Margarita Wise, and Sara M. Geiger, many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Nina was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney H.S. and S.U.N.Y Geneseo. Her career included jobs in the banking and IT industries. She had an eye for vintage glassware and collected many fine pieces over the years. Nina inherited her mother's artistic talents. In recent months, she crafted exquisite rosaries which she gifted to St. Christopher’s church. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Anne’s visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2019 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday August 29th at 11 am at St. Christopher’s Church 3350 Union St. N. Chili. Private Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Wilmot Cancer Center in her memory.     We’re so sorry to hear of the passing of Nina. We send our deepest condolences to you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

  2. I’m sorry she is gone. She had a wonderful sense of humor. I’d see her in school and say ‘Hi Anne’ and she say ‘No, i’m Nina.’ Later the same day I’d say ‘Hi Nina’ and she say ‘No I’m Anne’. In the beginning she had me believing she was actually twins.
