Survived by his son, Andreas Michael Rau; daughter, M Su (William Joseph) Walters; sister, Catherine (Adolf) Ribitsch; brothers, Filip (Anna) Rau, Mark (Donna) Rau, Joseph (Gail) Rau; grandchildren, Christine Townsend and Scott (Jessica) Walters; great-grandchildren, Cassidy, Evan, Alex, Joey and Jack; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Sunday 2-5 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Internment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Opa, I love you so very much. I miss your sweet smile and the way your eyes lit up when the boys and I entered the room. Your love for us will never be forgotten, your memories never misplaced and your patience for us passed on to our children. I hope Gabe is showing you around with Oma. May your pain be gone now, your discomfort taken care of and may your heart soar knowing that your family is praising your name every day whether we can see you or not.
