Spencerport: Sunday, February 2, 2020 at age 61. Predeceased by her parents, Carl Wood and Marlene Morse; father-in-law, Donald C. Kessler. Survived by her husband, Donald J. Kessler; her children, Jennifer Kessler, Christine (Christopher) Sidoti; Donald A. Kessler; grandchildren, Madelynne, Christopher, Nathan, Matthew, Donnie, Alex; her siblings, Rhonda Wood, Helen (Jim) Guinnip, Doug (Pam) Wood, Kathryn Thomas (Michael), Joseph (Kim) Wood, Julie (Timothy) Shadeck; special friends, John and Carol Leary; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Rochester General Hospital 4200 Unit for the love and compassionate care given to Amy.
Amy attended St. Theresa School in 1972 where she met the love of her life Donnie. They had 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She was an avid bingo player. Amy loved crafting, event planning, casino outings and most of, spending time with her grandchildren.
Amy had an canning ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. She always gave the best advice. She was a person of faith and believed that The Lord guides everyone’s way. She will be deeply missed!
Friends may call Thursday (Feb 6th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (Feb 8th) 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Spencerport. Private Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
