Henrietta: Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Survived by his loving wife, Lisa; son, William Kharchenko; daughter, Christina (Evan) Conklin; brother, Richard (Stephanie) Gerula; sisters, Nina Kaut, Susan (Richard) Wild; best friend, Kenneth Caves; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the NRA and Camp Good Days and Special Times in his memory.

    Alex was a good friend & great co-worker. I think we all at lightnin enjoyed our tim with him throuh out the years. To his family I am truly sorry for your loss.

    Al’s ride was a great ride cut too short, but we all still had a good time. I consider him and Lisa very good friends. Al you will be missed,lots of good times and tons of laughs, had some awsom 1 liners. When I see ya next time we’ll all take another ride together.
