Greece: September 1, 2011 at age 63. Predeceased by father, Albert S. Sr.; brother, James M.; mother of Michael, Deborah Booth; niece, Tracy Baumgartner; and nephew, O. David Rist, Jr. Albert is survived by his mother, Irma; his 'bride' of 17 years, Beth (Rist) and beloved son, Michael; brothers & sisters in-law, Ed & Chris Baumgartner, Chuck & Gail Rist, O. David & Pat Rist, Val & Sue Vaillan Court, Larry & Kay Anderson, Ray & Gretchen Alves, many adored nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; godchildren, Mark Watt, Liz Collichio, Alex Marcello and many dear friends. Albert was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was the iconic waiter at Mr. Dominic's for 28 years were he had many dear friends, both co-workers and customers. He enjoyed life to the fullest, especially his home, friends on Long Pond, Hockey, Golf and so many great vacations. Friends may call Sunday, September 4th, 1-4 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, September 5th, 11 A.M. at Holy cross Church, 4492 Lake Avenue. His Committal Service will follow Mass at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, 8719 Colesville Road, Suite 100, Silver Spring, MD 20910, American Cancer Society, c/o Memorial Processing, P.O.   5. Albert was a great guy I am so glad that I knew him and he was a part of our lives . I am blessed to have had him attend my wedding in 09 . He will be mised and my mother Cheryl is beyond words of how she loved albert and will think of him everyday ! He made my mom live , he was a positive person and thats how we will remember him .   6. Albert was a man with a wonderful charismatic personality – an outstanding attribute that prevailed to the end. He was an exceptional man for his family, his humanity and for his friendships .There was nothing remote about Albert’s sense of dignity, strength and courage.

    So much of Albert’s legacy will be carried forward through the unconditional love of his family, many relatives and an extended family of friends.

    There was a kindness, simplicity and goodness of character that marked so many years of Albert’s life. For his loved ones, Albert kept a place in his heart that never grew old.

Butch i,m truly sorry to hear of your passing i,m in floridaand will not be able to attend the service weplayed hockey for years in the metro league with you and against you and we won the championship when cinnelis sponserd us but my fondest memory is when youi coached the susan b anthony womensteam asnd how well you coached my daughters Kelly andKarrie you just didnt teach them hockey you taught them to be good sports and for 14 and15 year old girls it has stayed with them as adults they and I will always remember you for that our prayers are with you and your family at this sad time the SLATTERYS

  32. I graduated with Albert from CHS and went to Irwin Inn when he was there with Michael many years ago. He was a wonderful person and I am glad I knew him. The funeral service at Holy Cross was beautiful. My deepest sympathy to you Irma, Beth, and Michael. He loved all of you so much and you made his life so special. He will be missed.

  33. My condolences for your loss-I am sad to hear of Albert’s passing. I hadn’t seen him in quite a while but he is part of my fondest memories from back in the 70’s. Some of us guys had a nickname for him back then because of some of his Viet Nam stories-‘Monsoon’…I can’t tell you how many times he made me laugh so hard with his little quips & remarks-Albert was the life of the party & when I think back on my times hanging out at Cinelli’s which became Mr.Dominic’s he is part of those great memories. Rest in Peace Monsoon-Until we meet again.

  37. My sincere condolences to the Marciano family. I played hockey with Albert in our early years of life. We were young kids, I would say age 11-17. We traveled to cities like Clinton, Tonawanda,NY and even in Canada. What a great teammate and even back then he had a terriffic personality. We also played in the adult hockey leagues as we got older. He was a very skillful player but his huge heart and again wonderful personality always made him stand out among all the people I have met in my life.
    So rest in peace my friend and may the Good Lord always watch over you.

  43. We graduated together from CHS. He was a great guy then and a lot of fun. I was Susan Blum back then. I married Don Hoefler, later divorced and remarried and moved to Pittsburgh, PA with 2 young girls.
