Rochester: January 31, 2011 at age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Opitz & grandson, Geoffrey Opitz. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine (Thomas) Raab; son, Gary (Ruth) Opitz; grandchildren, Karen (Steven) Edgar, Joseph (Lisa) Raab, Patricia (James) Spry, Andrew (Chantel) Raab, Tracy (David) Nappi, Kathleen Corby, Matthew Opitz & Meredith Opitz; great-grandchildren, Kristi, Stephanie, Melodie, Julia, Miranda, Michael, Jessica, Samantha & Ryan; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many dear friends.
Friends may call Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Friday, 9:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment in White Haven Memorial Park will follow Mass. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623.
