Sydney LePage of Spencerport, a hospice nurse with Visiting Nurse Service of Rochester, has been honored with the Caring for Caregivers Award from Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Homes.
LePage was nominated by a former patient’s family who described her as dedicated and caring throughout and after their hospice experience. They said LePage is a wonderful person who excels in her profession.
With the framed award, LePage received a glass memento for her desk and a $50 gift card.
Katie Meeson Hebert, partner at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Homes, said that their Caring for Caregivers program honors caregivers who excel in their profession.
Award recipients can be anyone who is seen as an important caregiver in the community, and can be nominated at meeson.kinsta.cloud.
