Spencerport – Jeanette B. Jacobs passed away on August 31, 2024 at the age of 90. She is survived by her children, Laura (Dennis) O’Donnell and Renee (Doug) Fedeli, her grandchildren, Hannah (Doug) Heyden and Brian Fedeli; her sister, Joyce (David) Rose, her niece, Gail Jacobs, Charles Jacobs and several other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years, Alonzo “Lon” Jacobs and parents, Earl & Mabel Buhler.
She has been a Spencerport resident since 1934 and retired from Spencerport Central Schools. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 6th, 2024 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Location, 1075 Long Pond Road, Rochester, New York, where Jeanette’s Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at 10:00 am. Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Craig A. Goodrich Dog Shelter, 80 Railroad Ave, Hamlin NY 14464 in Jeanette’s memory.
