Ronald Charles Rasbridge

Ronald Charles Rasbridge, 88, passed away on August 7, 2024, due to multiple cancers. He was the son of the late Fred Byron Rasbridge and Ruth Rasbridge. Ron was born in Rochester, NY, on February 2nd, 1936, and lived there 87 years. He had been living this past year in Assisted Living in Cary, NC. He was a graduate of West High School.

He retired as a Lieutenant in the City of Rochester Fire Department after 32 years of service. He is remembered particularly for entertaining others with his piano playing, for his wonderful sense of humor, his integrity, kindness, love, and generous nature.

He was united in matrimony to Marie Ellen Rasbridge in September of 1956, a loving marriage of 67 years. This union was blessed with 2 children, Ronald and Donald.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard.

His life will forever be cherished in the lives of his children: Ronald of Wilton Manors, FL, and Donald of Sanford, NC; 3 grandchildren Abby, Martha, and Jacob; 1 great-grandchild Maya; his daughter-in-law Laurie Rasbridge, whom he loved as a daughter; and many extended family members and many friends.
