Vay- Veneranda Concetta Maria Zarola Hannon RN
Our dear Mother Passed Away On Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 96.
Vay is survived by her Brother, John Zarola; Sisters, Mary Kahl &
Rose Kuhle-deceased. Four Loving Sons: Robert, Thomas, William & Joseph;
Grandsons, Michael and Kevin Hannon, Grands: Michael, Jasmine & Cynthia
Vay was a Rochester General Hospital Graduate 1948 and Nursed at RGH
For the next 47 years. Once retired she traveled to Italy, Germany, Australia and
China. Between trips Vay always volunteered with various Senior Organizations.
She enjoyed Cross Country Skiing, Golf and Bowling. Vay always had a Smile and Song in her Heart.
She is Loved by All and We will All have her Beautiful Memories to Cherish.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (August 2nd ) 10:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616. Private Interment.
I used to bowl with Vay on a league in Spencerport. She was the sweetest & kindest person in the world. I’m so glad to have spent some time with her. She will be missed!🙏
