Fred enjoyed wine tasting, travel, photography and was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox and Buffalo Bills. The family would like to express their thanks to the caregivers at Unity Hospital for the compassionate care that was provided to him over the past year.

Fred was such a thoughtful and kind man. I loved to hear of his travels and enjoyed the time he and Molly spent at our home. They were wonderful neighbors to my parents. He will be sadly missed.
We enjoyed wine tastings with Fred and Molly at AWS. They were a lovely couple. We loved the stories Fred brought back from his part-time job at the garden center and how Molly tried to grow the plants that Fred brought home. May they rest in peace together.
Fred was my best bud in high school (Deering High School, Portland, ME). His dad was the pastor of our church (St. Ansgar Evangelical Lutheran Church) and I got to know Fred through church and school. We chummed around all those years, I think because we had the same sense of humor. He was a very smart student. He and I went to the University of Southern Maine after high school graduation and then he transferred to UMaine in Orono, ME in his sophomore year. I lost track of him but just recently, I went online searching for him so I could reach out to him. A fellow student at USM all those years ago just reached out to me to let me know of Fred’s passing. I am very sorry for the family’s loss. May Fred rest in peace and rise in glory.
