Gerald Mandell “Jerry”

Gerald Mandell “Jerry”: After a long illness, Jerry passed away peacefully on the morning of May 31, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Donna Mandell, his son, Christpher Mandell and his wife Erin Mandell; his grandsons Rowan, Asher, Dylan and Elijah; one step brother, Arthur Branton; his cousins, Frank and Linda (Passantino) Ranalletti; nieces Jessica and Marissa. He was predeceased by his mother, Louise Mandell (Del Ripe), his father, Isadore Mandell, and his aunt, Viola Del Ripe.  

Jerry was the former owner of Jerry’s Record Tree, JRT Audio, Gennaro’s Restaurant of Spencerport NY,  Gennaro’s Pastaria in Medina, NY, and several other local Rochester and Spencerport businesses. He had a huge love of cooking and was an avid performer and musician. He sang and played mainly bass guitar, but also played many other instruments. 

Private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Lung Association in his name.
