Barr Putnam Ingle

Barr Putnam Ingle Predeceased by his beloved wife, of 51 years Sonia Scrimshaw Ingle; brother James F. Ingle; parents, Mark J. Ingle and Dorothy Flagg Ingle. Survived by his daughters, Karen Ingle and Debbie (Ed) Symonds; grandchildren Geoff (Jess) Symonds and Melissa Symonds; sister-in-law, Audrey; several nieces & nephews. He was a retiree of Bausch & Lomb. Barr was a veteran of the US Army and Reserves and Alumni of The College of Wooster and RIT. He was a member of Greece United Methodist Church and Walk to Emmaus. Barr enjoyed reading, playing games, doing puzzles and watching sports. He was a lifetime fan of baseball, especially the Rochester Red Wings. He even visited many of the major league baseball parks. Barr also liked to travel and go camping with family and friends. Friends may call Thursday (Feb 22nd) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Memorial Service will be held Friday (Feb 23rd) 11:00 at Greece United Methodist Church. Private Interment. Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Greece United Methodist Church in his memory.
