Shurlee J Hebblethwaite
Passed away suddenly on Nov.6th,2023 at age 82. Shurlee is pre-deceased by her husband David Hebblethwaite whom she shared her life with for 56 years. She is survived by her children: Stephen(Mary) Hebblethwaite, Charles(Lisa) Hebblethwaite, and daughter Elizabeth(Greg) Hebblethwaite-Yeckel. Several grandchildren, including Gregory Yeckel & Raina(Nadine)Perez whom she was especially close with, as well as 3 great-grandchildren. Shurlee graduated from Bryant & Stratton where she earned her business degree and then went on to work at Kodak for several years before starting her family. In 1979 she went back to work at Bausch & Lomb where she worked for 21 years in record’s management before retiring in 2000. Shurlee really enjoyed having family around and spending time with her grandchildren.
A private service will be held on Nov.13th at Vay-Schleich & Meeson followed by her graveside prayers at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart or American Lung Association.
Liz & Family, I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mom Hebblethwaite. She was always the most loving and welcoming from the very first time I met her in 1984. I will always cherish the years worth of memories spent with you and your family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
