Fred "Neil" Katerle Greece: September 6, 2023 at age 89. Neil is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Ada, wife Marjorie, brother Richard, son, Steven; Survived by his children, Scott, Sheri (Robert) Yahn, Sheila, Laurie, David, Eric; grandchildren, Sean (Christie) Katerle, Michael Katerle, Joe (Holly) Ryan, Dylan Katerle, Lydia Katerle; several great-grandchildren; nieces, Judi (Dan) Mangone, Doreen Sweeting; nephew, Alan (Mary) Aufderheide; sister, Bonnie Aufderheide; companion, Rose Pelano; Neil was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. A special thanks to Chris Kelly, Al Fasy, Allison Johnson for their loving care they provided Dad at the end of his life. Neil’s visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. His Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 10th at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel, Interment to follow at Webster Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Aurora House of Western Monroe County Hospice 2495 S. Union St., Spencerport, NY 14559 or Huntington’s Disease Society, https://hdsa.org.

My prayers go out today to the entire Katerle family. Mr. Katerle was one of those great neighborhood dads growing up on Kislingbury St. He brought your kids up all great. He would be very proud rest in peace Mr. Katerle.
