Hernandez, Jeraldo; (Hollywood, Honch, Bubba), 2/26/23. Went home to be with the Lord.
Predeceased by his Mother; Josefa. Survived by his Father John and wife Mary; Loving wife, Carla; Brothers, John (Andrea), Daniel (Tracy), Rick, and Mark (Lisy); sisters, Haydee Mottler (Scott), Maria Hilbert (Frank), and Teresa DiPaoloa (Charles); Nephews, Brandon, John Angelo, Joshua, Jonathan, Jordan, Richard, Dylan, Steven, Anthony, James, Julian and Marko; Nieces, Jasmine, Alexis, Lydia, Giovanna, Salvina, and Leecy; Many dear lifelong friends.
Jeraldo grew up in Rochester and made many friendships at Arcadia High School. He loved the Lord with his whole being. He greatly influenced the lip synch craze as he performed as "Elvis" and was the big winner in many contests with prizes including cash, cruise trips, and more. He began his professional career as a flooring technician then went on to operate his own business. He obtained his CDL license and became a Professional CDL Driver working for Atlantic Plywood, a job he enjoyed, especially meeting new customers and admiring their woodworking skills. Jeraldo had a heart of gold, his smile could light up a room and his presence was undeniable in any setting. He and his wife were inseparable for 15 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson on the open road with the wind flowin’ in his hair. He took great pride in his appearance and coined the phrase "Man-Diva" w/his appreciation for fine watches and jewelry. He was a force to be reckoned with during the years he played flag football at G&T Sportspark, and still holds the record for most sacks. He was Poppy to their two dachshunds, Stella and Bella. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Jeraldo’s visitation will be held Friday, March 3rd, 4 – 7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Service will be celebrated Saturday, March 4th, 10:00 AM at New Beginnings Church, 7397 W. Ridge Road Brockport. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.

What an amazing guy to have known and been friends with. Phil and I couldn’t have ever asked for better neighbors for our first home than you and Carla. Always willing to help out in any way I needed, and always kept an eye on us and our home, which I am forever grateful for. Jeraldo, there are so many great memories Phil and I, as well as our families have with you. Rest easy my dear friend, you are greatly missed
You lit up the room. May you be dancing in heaven. Carla lost a piece of her heart when you left, but she glorifies God knowing that you are now held by our Father in heaven.

Dear Hernandez Family, We are so sorry for your loss. You could always count on a huge smile, laughs and great stories whenever our paths would cross with Jerry. What we will remember most is the friendship and adventures he shared with our brother Michael and the kindness he always showed for our parents. We hope the memories shared by all will help your family find peace in your lives. Jerry share a toast and some memories with Michael when he greets you in heaven. Peace and prayers, Scott and Nancy Zappia
We’re both saddened to hear of the news of Jeraldo’s passing. Lived across the street from them and they always had a smile, a wave and some conversation. Always remember him smiling a lot, always semed to be in a good mood. We’ll miss him this summer, and seing him ride off on his motorcycle. RIP Jerry, you were a great neighbor. Alan and Wendy Houser
Uncle Jerry, The light and energy you brought to any room we shared will live with me forever. You were a wonderful uncle and could always make me laugh. I’ll never forget childhood visits with you, Moe, and Fats, or you sparking my interest in motorcycles (which waned as I grew up) and in Elvis’ music (which has grown). Until we see each other again, Anthony
