  After a long, beautiful life and a brief, courageous battle during hospice, at 94, Mary returned to our Lord surrounded by love in the comfort of her family’s home with her caregivers Tom & Kim at her side and holding her hands.  Predeceased by her husband Jeff, son Timothy, parents Joseph and Mary Kristine, brothers Joseph and Matthew, and sister Helen Doody.  She is survived by her son Deacon Tom, daughter-in-law, Kim, Granddaughter Kristina Suski (and great-grandbaby expected July 28), husband Jon; niece Debbie and Ron Spiotta, several nephews; her closest friend, Gloria Farrell and life-long friend Liz Kinne. Mary worked in many legal capacities over her career, retiring from the Monroe County Department of Child Protective Services in 1993 after which she enjoyed her home, deck, flowers, bowling, golf and volunteering at Unity Hospital for 27 years completing over 7500 hours of service.  She was a gentle presence of stability and fun; whose strong faith guided her life.  She was gracious and generous in every way. Her loss is felt deeply and she will forever be missed until we, in our own time, meet her again in the company of our Lord and all who have gone before us in faith.  We love you, Ma! No calling hours.  Friends are invited to join the family at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 21 at Our Mother of Sorrows to celebrate her life in the Mass of Resurrection followed immediately by interment at Holy Sepluchre Cemetery.
